Elution from the beads is fast and complete; all or nearly all of the DNA is recovered. DNA eluted from the beads is also easy to dissolve and ready to use in significantly less time than other HMW DNA extraction methods. The beads should be used in conjunction with the Monarch Bead Retainers (NEB #T3004) and Monarch Collection Tubes II (NEB #T2018) for convenient handling and for best results.
