Ham’s F14 medium was elaborated from our Ham’s F12 medium which was originally developed for the serum-free clonal growth of Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cells, lung cells and mouse L-cells.
Ham’s F14 medium contains a double concentration of amino acids compared to the Ham’s F12 medium. Glucose concentration is 6g/L. This product is also supplemented with calcium chloride, ascorbic acid and ATP (1mg/L).
Because Ham’s F14 medium does not contain protein and growth factor, it is recommanded serum supplementation according to the cell type and application.
Its formulation does not contain L-Glutamine.
