The Monarch gDNA Blood Lysis Buffer a component of the Monarch Genomic DNA Purification Kit (NEB #T3010), which can be used to purify up to 30 µg genomic DNA from a variety of sample types. The kit contains three unique lysis buffers, optimized to enable maximal yield and purity when preparing genomic DNA from a variety of sample types. The Blood Lysis Buffer contains a strong protective component against the high nuclease activity in blood samples and supports rapid degradation of hemoglobin and other protein components. The Monarch gDNA Blood Lysis Buffer is one of three lysis buffers available for purchase separately for additional convenience and to minimize waste.
