Angiotensin (1-7) (Ang-(1-7), Angiotensin fragment 1-7) is a bioactive component of the renin-angiotensin system that is formed endogenously from either Ang I or Ang II. Angiotensin (1-7) is a canine ACEinhibitor with an IC50 of 0.65 μM and inhibits the activity mediated by myostatin through Mas receptor.
